Bring out the Designer in You!  Learn how to create a fabulous paper piecing pattern using  Westalee Design's 8 Point Crosshair Square. You will also learn how to create multiple copies of your pattern to make several blocks and prepare templates for pre-cutting fabrics.  The techniques are then easily translatable to allow you to make all kinds of designs.  (Look for my Part 2 class, The Snowflake Block: A No-Tear Method of Paper Piecing to learn how to sew the block.)

Class located at the Coburg Community Charter School  in Historic Coburg, Oregon! 

Two Hour Class

Students will need to bring the following supplies:

  • 3 Pieces of Reynolds Freezer Paper cut to 16" square
  • A Mechanical pencil or other fine line marker
  • A Rotary rulers (24" in length and a smaller size approximately 5.5" is best
  • Rotary Cutter
