Make Your Quilt Stand Out: Trapunto By Machine - With Pam Bocko - Saturday
Traputo, or stuffed quilting, is the art of adding raised area to your quilting. In this class you will learn how to take your quilting to a whole new dimension (literally!) by using an easy technique using lofty batting and water soluble thread. You will learn about trapunto design, how to mark the design on fabric, sewing and trimming the design and finish work. This is a technique class and a simple piece will be made. This is a beginner trapunto class, BUT, free motion quilting is an integral part of this class, so students should be competent in that technique as it will not be taught as part of the class.
